Major Projects:

Garfield Ferguson has had two major exhibitions at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in the 1990's. As a drummer and artist - music has played a major influence in Ferguson's artwork. The first show, at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery "Painting to the Beat" was curated by Joan Murray in the winter of 1991. The exhibition was a cacophony of shapes, texture and music notes which melded together with his careful use of colour. His second show, held in 1997, was the exhibition entitled "Beneath the Surface".
